Enhance Your Experience

My tips to having the best massage experience:

Before Your Massage

-Book your massage that will accommodate the amount of work you need and stay committed to coming.

-Come on time.

-Don't eat or drink at least an hour before your session.

-Turn off your cell phone. This time is all about you!

-Talk to your MT about how you're feeling, recent injuries and past surgeries. Discuss areas of concern and areas you'd like to avoid/more attention to.

-Pull your hair up high so your MT can have a better massage flow and your hair won't get as oily.

-Take off all your jewelry, watch, anklets, rings, etc.

After Your Massage

-Bring comfy clothes to dress into after your session.
-Drink lots of water for the next few days. You will most likely feel like you have a "workout" soreness. It's your toxins/lactic acid that's releasing from your muscles. It will go away within a few days.
-Rest and recover. You may be feeling tired or dizzy after your massage. There's a lot of new blood flow happening and it's ok to not have anything planned after your session but to go home and rest/sleep.

During Your Massage

-Communication is key- it's your responsibility to let your MT know if you're getting the desired pressure, areas to avoid, areas that need more attention/feel good.
-The world is so loud, it's ok to have a quiet massage session.
-Try to relax your whole body and take deep breaths. MT will be picking up your limbs, try to not help.
-Emotional releases happen all the time. They can come at any time and it's ok to let it release.
-It's ok to ask for a bathroom break. I have a robe available for you.
-Have a stuffy nose during your massage? Please let me know, there are many remedies that can help.

Book Your Next Appointment

-Get committed to Massage Therapy.

-Don't wait last minute to book your appointment.

-For routine massage sessions schedule at least 1 month in advance. For injuries book sooner.

-Avoid canceling your appointments.

Dry Brushing Session

Exfoliate and Detox

Dry brushing is an efficient technique that involves using a natural bristle brush to gently exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells and promoting a healthy glow. In addition to its cosmetic benefits, dry brushing is also believed to stimulate the lymphatic system, which helps to remove toxins from the body and improve overall health. By incorporating dry brushing into your self-care massage therapy routine, you can enjoy a rejuvenating and invigorating experience that leaves you feeling refreshed and revitalized.

1hr Cellulite Treatment Massage

Target specific areas

Receiving a cellulite massage is a popular self-care treatment to reduce the appearance of cellulite on the body. This type of massage targets the areas such as the thighs, buttocks, and abdomen, where cellulite is most common, using specialty oil and specific repeating strokes using massage tools. By using specific techniques and pressure, a cellulite massage can help break down fat cells and improve circulation, resulting in smoother, firmer skin. If you're looking for a non-invasive way to improve the appearance of cellulite, consider adding before or after your custom massage session.
